Football Party Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Description

A quick, interactive, and crowd-pleasing game day snack made with refrigerated pizza dough, pepperoni, mozzarella, and herbs, baked until golden and cheesy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube (about 1 lb / 450g) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package (3-4 oz) thin pepperoni slices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 3 tablespoons (45g) butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Non-stick cooking spray or butter for greasing pan
  • Ranch dressing or marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Generously grease a 10-inch Bundt pan or a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. If using refrigerated pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, pepperoni slices (cut in half if large), garlic powder, and dried oregano. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle. Spread the cheese and pepperoni mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border at the edges.
  5. Roll the dough up tightly from the long side into a log. Place the log seam-side down into the greased Bundt pan, curving it to fit the ring shape (or arrange in rows for a baking dish).
  6. Using a sharp knife, slice the dough log into 1-inch thick slices. Press them slightly together so they bake into a cohesive loaf.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with red pepper flakes (if using). Brush the tops of the slices generously with the butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Rotate the pan halfway through for even browning.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes to help it set. Invert onto a serving platter or serve directly in the pan.
  10. Serve warm with ranch dressing and marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Use low-moisture mozzarella to prevent sogginess. Let the bread cool for 5 minutes before serving to ensure it holds its shape. Can be made ahead by assembling the night before and refrigerating; bake in the morning. Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave for 30 seconds or in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
